Beyonce Wants More Movie Roles

R&B star Beyonce says she loved playing her role in the movie “Dreamgirls” and enjoyed working with co-stars Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy.

The performer said she learned plenty from working with two of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and is keen take on more roles in the movie business.

“I got to work with the best actors,” she said. “I could just watch and learn.”

“Dreamgirls,” adapted from the Broadway musical, stars Foxx as a car salesman who worms his way into the Detroit music scene and becomes an impresario, orchestrating the crossover of black music to white mainstream culture.

Beyonce who fronted Destiny’s Child made her movie acting debut in 2002’s.

“Dreamgirls” premieres Dec. 15 in Los Angeles and New York.
